Efe Ambrose dragged into bribing scandal
CELTIC outcast Efe Ambrose has been
unwittingly dragged into a bribing scandal in Nigeria after recommending
a coach who demanded money from stars who wanted to play for the Super
Eagles, The Scottish Sun reports.
Former Chelsea midfielder Emmanuel Sarki
had claimed he decided to snub Nigeria and play international football
for Haiti instead because he got sick of being asked to pay up to
£1,000 to play for the Super Eagles.
And Ambrose – who is currently out of
the picture at Parkhead – has unknowingly become a part of the scandal
because he was a former colleague of Sarki at Ashdod in Israel.
